An experimental “360-degree” review process for residence permit applications will be implemented in Normandy,France, starting July 1st, 2024. This new process will consider all possible grounds for granting a residence permit when a refusal is initially considered. The pilot program will run for a maximum of three years and will apply to all residence permit categories except those granted for international protection or health reasons. The pilot departments include Calvados, Eure, Manche, Orne, and Seine-Maritime.
